The aim of this module is to provide a fundamental in laboratory safety, first aid, instrumentation and phlebotomy.

By the end of the module, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of:

i. The different techniques of used in withdrawing blood samples by venipuncture and fingerstick.
