The aim of this module is to provide to students to understand the water cycle; basic physical principles (evaporation, condensation, precipitation, runoff, stream flow, percolation, and groundwater flow), as well as environmentally relevant applications based on case studies. Students will be exposed to water quantity and issues; from global to regional scales and how human and natural processes affect water availability in surface and groundwater systems. Enable the student to handle the hydrological data Frequency analysis. The module has both theoretical and practical components divided into twelve chapters/units. In addition, some exercises were provided.

The online teaching will cover 30% and the remaining percentage (70%) will be covered face to face at campus after the re-open.
